14.MAY.10

GARY BALCOMBE, son of Mr. Allison & Mrs. Joanne Balcombe, formerly of Georgetown, St. Vincent, now residing in Florida, graduated from Indian River State College with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management on 7th May, 2010. Gary is a former student of Georgetown Government School, St. Mary’s RC school, Don McCarthy Middle School, St.Lucie West Centennial High School (where he was a part of the marching band) and later attended the Indian River Community College, completing his Associate in Arts degree, followed by an Associate in Applied Science in Automotive Service Management Technology. Gary is known by friends, colleagues and family as a hard working, respectful and courteous young man, qualities that he attributes to his family upbringing.

Gary’s favorite quote by Orison Marden states that “Success is not measured by what you accomplish, but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds.” The entire Balcombe family wishes him continued success in all future endeavors.
