The Rev. Veral Blake celebrated 40 years of full time Christian Service on August 19th. Rev. Blake is originally from Fancy but now resides in Campden Park. He began Pastoral Ministry as a teenager at 19 years. His first Pastorate was at Emmanuel Baptist Church, South Rivers, where he met his wife Norma, and they were married in 1971. Rev. Blake has served in various capacities within the diaspora of Christian ministries. He and his wife served as missionaries in Dominica from 1975 to 1980. He was appointed National and then Regional Director of Ambassadors for Christ International Ministries and has also been a Director on the International Board of that Body for the past 15 years. Rev. Blake is also currently a Director of The Evangelical Association of The Caribbean, The Superintendent of the SVG Bible Churches and host of the Ambassadors For Christ, Children’s Radio Bible Club and ViewPoint Radio Programs.
