On the 28th June, 2009, Elgin and Lavette Johnson pledged their love and commitment to each other before a gathering at the Botanical Gardens. Pastor Edson Augustus conducted the ceremony and presented the newlyweds. Maid of Honour was Nicole Watson and Best Man Arnold Johnson.
