CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Kemara Brackin was among 1500 students who gathered at the Savannah Civic Centre on Saturday, May 30th, 2009, for the Savannah College of Art and Design Graduation Ceremony.

Perseverance, hard work and strong faith in almighty God enabled Kemara to gain first class honours (Summa Cum Laude) at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, Georgia, USA. She is the daughter of proud parents Ken and Maureen London/Brackin of Glen, originally of Dickson Village. Kemara earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, majoring in Graphic Design. She attended the Kingstown Preparatory School, the St. Vincent Girls’ High School and the SVG Community College. Kemara was the first Vincentian student to graduate from the Community College with a distinction in Art and Design. Kemara received many awards, including runner-up for the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Poster Competition 2008 and the Young Designers Expo Poster Project. Kemara plans to advance her education by attending Graduate school to read for a Master’s degree in Graphic Design/Marketing.
