‘Bigga’ shot and killed in Calliaqua

St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) has recorded another homicide following an early-morning shooting in Calliaqua on Tuesday, July 18.

The shooting occurred in the vicinity of the Anglican Church around 8 am and resulted in the death of Kemron Roberts also know as ‘Bigga’ and ‘Shaka’.

SEARCHLIGHT understands he was walking on his way to work when the incident occurred.

Police say Roberts, a 28-year-old labourer was discovered with what appeared to be multiple gunshots to the head.

His death brings the country’s homicide count to 29 for the year.

A release from the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force said a postmortem examination will be conducted on the body to ascertain the cause of

death.
