Virgin Atlantic announces island hopping service for Barbados, Grenada and SVG

Virgin Atlantic has announced the introduction of inter-island flights from Barbados to Grenada and St Vincent, beginning June 14.

The service will be operated using the airline’s flagship A330-300, a release from Virgin Atlantic said.

Initially, flights will operate between the islands twice a week, increasing to three times weekly from October.

Economy fares start from US$307 and bookings for the service opened on May 27.

“With economy seat pitches of 31 inches, customers will enjoy a complimentary light snack, alongside the airline’s extensive in-flight entertainment options,” the release said.

The island hopping service will also be complemented by an increase in flights to St Vincent and the Grenadines, which will operate thrice weekly in the winter season.
