Advisory on School Attendance for Thursday, September 22, 2022

The Ministry of Education and National Reconciliation has advised that students who travel to school from North of the Rabacca Bridge and between the islands should remain at home on Thursday, September 22, 2022.

The Ministry said this advice is due to the inclemency of the weather associated with the strong tropical wave affecting the island.

“Parents and guardians are advised that students who travel to school from North of the Rabacca Bridge and between the islands should remain at home. This refers to students traveling from a Grenadine Island to mainland St. Vincent or a Grenadine Island to another Grenadine Island,” the release said.

A Flashflood Watch is in effect for St. Vincent and the Grenadines until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September  22 2022.
