Working with straight hair

Straight hair is normally fine and thin. The result of this is that although straight hair looks fantastic in long straight styles or short crops, if you want hair with body and bounce it is going to take some work, to make those fine hair strands increase in volume. Also straight hair sits close to the head so often it becomes greasy quickly at the roots and fine strands absorb this rapidly, which may cause you to wash your hair everyday. For that reason, the most important thing straight hair needs is a gentle shampoo, or volumizing shampoo, that has thickening agents. If you want to use conditioning products make sure they are light (sprays are better than cream) and that you wash well to get them out.
