Time Foh Dem To Go
Bassy - Love Vine
November 21, 2025

Time Foh Dem To Go

One Man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Different strokes foh different folks. So dat is why next Thursday November 27th, 2025, Vin-scent-shuns by birth! or death! or by ship…sit-or-sins! Or by Common Wealth! or by Karma-Law home owner ship in T’n’T ; will go to the polls and vote.

De vote-in story is deteriorating to ah street fight foh Pry-mini-star position, between Dr.Gone-Soft, ah soon to be re-tired 79 year ole self appointed 5 Star General, 31 straight years in Par-liar-mint, wid de last 24 years as Pry-minister; and his rival who is 13 years his junior, and much expected successor, God-win Fry-dey, wid 24 years in Par-liar-mint, nine of which as Awe-position Leader. Dey’s ah nuff to talk bout problem. De high point of Gone-soft entire five terms is de Eddy-care-shun Rev-alyo-shun and de Argyle Inter-nah-shun-all Airport (AIA). Apart from these two successful projects our 5-Star General is having ah dismal performance in office. Highest Vat rate in de OECS! Also highest cost of living index, lowest paid salaries except foh family and family-in-law members who are party- affiliates!

Wid de exception of Hate-he unemployment in SVG is lowest in de region! Doh talk bout crime. SVG has had an average of 40 homicide for de las five years, wid 54 and 55 per 100, 000 in 2024 and 2025. Our agricultural production foh export is one sided, and our Balance of Trade is like 12 million Import to one million Export.

But de 5-Star General is back to square one. In 2001 he was able to marshall his troups e.g, public servant, teacher et al. to block de road. One minister at Gibson Corner on Lowman/Montrose highway, was very effective in locking off all Leeward traffic to town. He was quoted as saying, “De lockdown (to traffic) is as tight as ah virgin!” But de 5-Star General was best of all, reported live as saying: “ Form ah human shield ‘round me!” was his words to his supporters. Ten-shun was high, Mitchell panicked and gave in to pressure. Five-Star General, he won dat elect-shuns; dat was in 2001, and has won de elections four consecu-teef times- “ Five-in- ah-row! His road-block in 2001. And so he made a very troubling appeal to labour supporters at a public meeting earlier this month. Concerned law-abiding citizens are worried.

Lie-Za say when grampa heard bout de 5-Star General’s Troubling/Panic Appeal at ah Labour meeting, Grampa asked foh ah print out. She sent me ah copy. Remember yuh have to treat anything dat Lie-Za say or write wid ah pinch ah salt. But ah still posting what she sent me. Quote : “ There’s no way the NDP can win the election. No other way at all. When you hear the counts coming out on the night, I want you to be on the streets, in the victory mood, because some NDP people when they lose again, they want create confusion when Labour are on the move. I will be out there with you. You Hear me?” End of Quote. Dis is 2025 ah decision has to be made. De 5-Star General has run de country to de dust. Time foh him to go home and Rest. Let Peace and Love remain, but mek certain and vote. And wid dat is gone ah gone again.

One Love Bassy
