Is Karma-Law Striking Back
Bassy - Love Vine

Is Karma-Law Striking Back

DE THING DEY CALL “Karma” as we all know is ah “situation in which things happen to people as ah result of dey previous act-shuns.” In simple Creole “If yuh do good, good go follow yuh, and if yuh do bad de Lord have mercy pon yuh!” Karma is wretchyuh- brute-shun.

Grampa say it looks like Karma is going to strike our Five-Star General in ah bad way dis electshun. He got dis way he does run hey! dey! and every-way, running from issues at home, but passing he mouth in things way he ain’t got no business. We dey hey in SVG whispering how Trinny-Dad in trouble, Karma-Law siding wid USA Trump and not Mad-euro. But Carry-Come leaders met as usual, wid dey non-vice way of saying nutten, and came up wid ah town-incheek covering statement.

But our Five Star General went as he loves to do, and according to Anil Roberts, T’n’T Min of Housing: “disrespectfully rinsing he mouth” pon Prime Minister Karma-Law Best-ahsaw. Well “ mouth open and ‘tory jump out! Five Star General forget he dealing wid Karma-Law and not Rowley. Ole people say “ Monkey must know way he go put he tail before he order pants.

Is like de PNC Go-venom- mint and de whole ah T’n’T tek offence, and pass ah Law call “Karma-Law” instructing Roberts, de Mini-star of Housing and his Housing Development Corp (HDC) staff of T’n’T to infestigate any Vin-centshun infestors of financial substance who would have bought houses from de HDC in T’n’T. Is like dey doing some Fo-rent-sick add-it-in, finding under hand business. Lie-Za tell me “say no more” let those wid dignified silence answer to Karma-Law!

Go pon Face Book and look foh “Douglar Politics” and read Anil Roberts post, he’s de same Min of Housing in de T’n’T Go-venommint. Doh enter-fear wid dat Karma-Law!

PSU FEELS IT

Now first things last.

Ley we big-up de Public Servant Union (PSU) President Elroy Boucher, its executive and members foh publicly and boldly announcing dey support foh de NDP led by Dr Friday in dis upcoming Electshun. Back in 2001 de PSU and Teachers Union (SVUT) gave de Dr Gonsalves led ULP full support, “Road Block” etc to help defeat de NDP. But, after 24 years as de Kaisonian sang: “Dey have nothing to show!” In fact over 600 public servants- teachers nurses and police lost dey jobs over de Vaccine mandate case dat is now heading to Privy Council for final ruling. One of de NDP’s calm pain promise for 2025 elect-shuns, is to re-employ every public servant wid full compensation, also ah one month’s bonus salary for Christmas.

Things dat bad wid de ULP dat dey are ashamed to accept defeat in de constituencies of Northern Grenadines (Dr Fry-dey) and East Kingstown (Fitz Bramble), so dey filing Election petitions against de opposition candidates, if they are successful at the polls. Lie-Za wonder what dey will do on de night of November 27th when Karma strikes. Age says Lie-Za say grampa begging us not to mek de same mistake we made in 1969. Vin-sentshun people got Volcanic genes, we lay dormant foh years but when we blow we does blow! And wid dat is gone ah gone again.

One Love Bassy
