Grampa’s Predict-shun

Grampa’s Predict-shun

Grampa Nathan, my fate-full, Spiritual Baptist Guard-yu-on kept telling me all of last week: “ If yuh looking foh ting to write bout, well doh miss de In-de-pen-dance Pah-raid on Sunday evening, and stay close to ah TV on Monday evening, because de ULP having ah Rally at de Richmond Hill Playing Field, de Pry-mini-star  will speak at both functions. Is Eye-run-ache you will not hear nutten bout six-in-ah- row, but dis is his last will and testimony, his farewell ah-dress, he go announce de date foh de General Elect-shuns, den he will men-shun bout ah last train. Yuh can’t afford to miss!

Ah doh often see Grampa except if something of nah-shun-all or hysteric-all con-son is about to happen.

Was he who did tell me to write say dat NDP-eyeing pon de ULP and den pre-empt dem. So dat when de PM on In-dip’n’dance day, say he giving Public Servants ah one-off payment of ah three percent (3%) bone-us foh de next three months, Fry-dey caught de PM flat pon he side > < back, since October 1st, when he said dat within two months in office, NDP will give Public Servants ah whole month’s salary (as ah Christmas bone-us). De Maths is simple. If yuh month’s pay is $ 2,000. dat’s what NDP will pay.

And de ULP’s deal is three percent of $ 2,000.= to $ 60. ah month foh three months, total is $180.

Grace by Name vs Grace by Nature

Ah asked Grampa bout de proposed $ 300. monthly payment to foster parents. He told me to big-up Senator Shevern John, who in de April sitting of Par-liar-mint highlighted de sad plight of Foster Parents receiving $ 175 ah month dat was paid foh de last two years. Oh how much Grampa loves Sen. Shevern John. He got good humour. He said two ladies contesting in North Windward, One name Grace by name de other is Grace by Nature.

God Children Always Win

Ah asked Grampa foh his predictions foh de elect-shuns next month. He gave me one long story bout ah show-down between de Lord and Moses when de young and under twenty-five- year- ole (Five Full Term) generation of Israelites ran out ah water in de desert foh ah second time. And de Lord told Moses dey’ll be no striking of de rock wid staff, (as he did de first time), instead he must “talk to de rock” mek de young people see, hear, an experience God’s Power. But de frustrated Moses gave de lord attitude and was disrespectful. He took de staff from de Lord, address de young voters as rebels, (de big man would ah call dem vagabonds) and in ah show of clear arrogance, Moses struck de rock twice as he saw fit. Yes de water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank. Right away de Lord tore up Moses and his brother Aaron’s travel documents to cross over to de Promise Land.

Den Grampa told me part of Moses demise was dat he had become very ole and had to deal wid ah generation of forty- year- oles born in de wilderness. ULP has to deal wid ah ah generation of under 25-year- ole voters born in ah Eddy-Care-Shun Rev-all-yu-shun. No Jobs, but hooked in dey gills wid nearly ah billion dollar death. And den dey’s de suffering of 600 Public Servants who were fired over three years ago- lost dey Jobs, pension, vacation, no salaries to pay mortgages- all dis foh refusing to bow to ah wicked ULP Go-venom-mint’s illegal COVID-19 vaccine mandate of 2021. Grampa is not ah gambler or doesn’t play LOTTO, but he is saying dat come Friday November 28th, when yuh ask de children of Chatoyer who WIN de Elect-shun, dey will say de Children of GOD. And wid dat is gone ah gone again.

One Love Bassy
