NDP Pre-empted De ULP

NDP Pre-empted De ULP

Dis is ah bad weak foh PM Gone-soft and de ULP. Lie-Za say she was at de “Day of Prayer Service” by Heritage Square. When she over-heard talk from ah sister dat de top floor way de Pry-mini-star office is located was shaking. Dat people been dey waiting pon de Pry-mini-star.

Members of staff, ah few strangers on past-port business, de regular party supporters went to load, unload and receive instructions. Dey said de PM arrived late, and from de time he stepped out ah de elevator, dey heard way down de corridor, his loud full belly laughter. Den like ah Dr Jekyl he suddenly sounded raging mad, his voice blasting full volume. Like he was speaking to someone who had good info, but was either secretly monitored, had an eave-dropper or de phone was being tapped.

Clearly de Com-Rad was upset and his side ah de conversation was clear. He was arguing wid de caller at full volume and said: “ Come-rad ah done tell alyo dat Fry-dey and Lea-cock and de other one Daniel Cummings think running Guv-mint is like running ah mauby shop. When we took office in 2001, Poor Relief sorry, Public Assistance was $ 50.00 ah month, after only 25 years ULP raised it six times, its now up to $ 300.00 ah month! “ He paused to hear what de caller was saying on de other end, den he took ah deep breath, and puff at full blast like he repeated what de caller was telling him. “How NDP go double Poor Relief to $ 600.00 ah month, dat is more dan de $ 320.00 monthly dat de NIS people who are on minimum contributory pensions getting. Seemed like de caller interrupted again and told him something dat he never expected to hear coming from de low-keyed, tight-lipped NDP. Instantly his colour switched to full ULP Red. He cut into de conversation again: “Com-rad I saw ah video where the (NDP) host told a caller on NICE Radio that the NIS pension will also increase along wid Public Assistance… yuh see how NDP backward and don’t know how to run country?“

Apparently dat calm pain promises by de NDP is another punch directly in de abdomen of de Com-Rad and his ULP. Further NDP has boldy and boastingly announced bone-us salaries foh public servants and pensioners! (ii) Reinstatement of de over 700 victim-eyes Public Servants (Teachers, Nurses and Police) who were illegally dismissed foh refusing to take de COVID-19 Vax-seen. (iii) Dey would have lost dey pensions, leave and gratuity all of which is to be restored.

De PM is relying heavily on his last Will and Testimony on In-dip-and-dance Ah-dress on October 26th. He has promised to give de nay-shun de full package of elect-shun calm pain. “ I’m giving you chapter and verse. You want the answer. You’re getting the answers this morning from De Com-Rad, from the head of the fountain.” Lie-Za say ULP is 25 years spent. And wid dat is gone ah gone again.

One Love Bassy
