De Love Vine wishes our brother Christopher-Herman Dennie and his beloved wife, sister Thelma, ah Happy Golden Wedding Anniversary and many more years of Love wid Good Health. Ah dey hey looking at ah ‘Before’ and ‘After’ wedding photograph of dis one-dah-full couple, and what is evident is dat after 50 Years, neither partner looks ah day older; ain’t put on an ounce in weight, nor added an inch in height; clearly dey are Blessed, Precious and Highly favoured in God’s sight!”. Lie-Za was saying 50 years (to-get-her), is over 18,262 days, nuff tea, breakfast and dinner together; nuff give and take to-gather; nuff thing to vex for in de day and nuff time to say ‘ah sorry’, and good night before de sun goes down. But after speaking wid such authority she asking me to help her find her ah good fellar.

De Dennies are warm and humble Christians, custodians of ah small Brethren Assembly (Church) in Fountain. Proud parents of three sons and ah daughter Dionne, an Events Planner, owner of Exquisite Events. Dionne actually did ah magnificent job transforming de Spring Venue into ah mini Banquet Hall. M.C for de evening was Damien Mc Tair, ah give him an “A” foh good dict-shun, Voice and Command of de English. Excellent music provided by DJ Kano, one ah de better sounds system. Kano actually got de honoured Couple to get up and shake ah leg, (Chris is going to be so mad wid me). Ah very talented young man Sam Toka, played beautiful violin music serenading us ole-people oops! mature audience. Ah sumptuous meal prepared by Michelle Harris Catering. Is de second time ah tasting Michelle’s cooking, quite tasty. Four Brethren Pastors blessed de recommitted second round newly weds wid dey 2024 Vows. And to crown it all Brother Christopher Herman brought de house down, when he quietly pulled ah small package from his pocket, somebody shouted “Everybody Look! Ah Diamond Ring!” He toasted his dearly beloved wife, ah doh trust dat Dionne, she was serving her parents at de head table wid non-alcoholic wine all evening. After dat de floor was open to show appreciation to DJ Kano at his very best. May de good Lord Bless de entire Dennie Family. And wid dat is gone ah gone again.
