Greiggs Softball Cricket powering up

Three matches were played on Saturday and Sunday at the Caesar’s Real Estate, Hairoun Beer, Nar Fren Dem Greiggs T/20 Softball Cricket tournament staged at the Greiggs Central Playing Field.

On Saturday, Sion Tallawahs registered an eight wicket win over Owia Shottas.

Batting first, Owia Shottas made 103 all out in 16.4 overs.

Osnet Cato contributed 24, while Shamic Roberts took 3 for 11. Sion Hill Tallawahs,106 for 2 in 9.4 overs. Denson Hoyte top scored with 55. Kirton Lavia took 2 for 48.

On Sunday, H and H Dental Care Clinic Clinchers defeated Israel Bruce Smashers by 36 runs. Clinchers garnered 114 for 8 from 20 overs. Leon Quashie, 42 not out and Dill Clarke, 32.

Zyron Harry took 3 for 29. Smashers,105 in 14.3 overs; Linton Peters , 44. Rokiem Lavia grabbed 3 for 10 and Leon Quashie 3 for 18.

And, Country Meet Town Out Ah Trouble Family outlasted Fairbain United by 119 runs.

Out Ah Trouble Family amassed 175 for 6 from 15 overs. Davian Barnum, 59 not out and Stein Joseph, 59.

Fairbain United replied with 56 all out in 14 overs. Ronel Simmons, 25. Deroy Straugh picked off 4 for 7.
