Dublin wins first TT assessment title for 2020

DAMION DUBLINWON the first assessment tournament for 2020, staged last Saturday at the West St George Secondary School Auditorium, and put on by the SVG Table Tennis Association.

Facing Akeil De Roche’ in the final, Dublin triumphed 11-7, 11-8, 11-4.

After successfully coming through the preliminary phase, Dublin saw off Caleb Howard in the semi-final, 11-9 , 11-9 , 11-6, while De Roche’ got past Mikael Hazelwood 11-5 , 10-12, 6-10 , 12-10 , 11-7.

The next assessment tournament is set for February 15,

at the same venue, serving off from 2 p.m.
