Akeil De Roche trumps Grammar School’s TT title
Akeil De Roche won the St Vincent Grammar School’s open Table Tennis knock-out competition, which was completed on Friday at the school’s auditorium.
De Roche beat Michel Creese 11-7, 11-9, 7-11, 10-12, 11-9, in a humdinger.
De Roche, the reigning secondary schools’ male champion, finished on 8 points, while Michel Creese counted 7 points.
Juwan Howard and Mirac Creese, each scored 5 points, to be joint third place.
Players who won at least two matches, were also rewarded with bronze medals.
