Police Two duo top national T/20 cricket statistics
Despite having to be runner-up in the National Lotteries Authority Neil Williams 20/20 Cricket Competition, Police Two copped the top batting and bowling awards.
Rickford Walker’s 314 runs, was the most by any batsman.
Walker tally of runs came from nine matches. He has the distinction of scoring two centuries in this year’s competition.
Walker edged out Smashers’ Ronald Scott, who amassed 309 runs. Behind them was French Verandah RW Sporting World SVG Community College’s Dillon Douglas, who compiled 286.
Meanwhile, Police Two’s Romario Bibby nipped Othniel Lewis and Deighton Butler, who both ended with 16 wickets apiece.
Going into last Saturday’s final versus Team Rivals at the Sion Hill Playing Field, Bibby was on 14 wickets, but grabbed 3 for 34, to nose ahead of FLOW Radcliffe’s Othniel Lewis’ 16.
Also in Saturday’s final, Team Rivals’ Deighton Butler grabbed 4 for 34, to draw level with with Lewis, also with 16 wickets.
However, Lewis’ tally of wickets was achieved from four matches, while Bibby’s came from nine matches and Butler’s from seven.
