SVG Squash Association AGM postponed to January 2017

The Annual General Meeting of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Squash Association, which was set for last Saturday at the National Squash Centre at Paul’s Avenue, has been reset to “sometime in January next year”.{{more}}

President of the association James Bentick made this known to SEARCHLIGHT last Sunday, one day after the intended meeting.

Bentick expressed his “deep apology” for not being able to convene the meeting.

A notice posted at the National Squash Centre cited unforeseen circumstances for the meeting’s “cancellation”.

Normally staged in January of each year, the AGM was fast forwarded to have an executive in place to commence planning for the XXV senior Caribbean Area Squash Association (CASA) tournament, slated for here in August next year.

St Vincent and the Grenadines last hosted the senior CASA tournament in 2010, when the XVIII was convened.(RT)
