NSC set to name new manager soon
The National Sports Council will soon name its new manager, SEARCHLIGHT has been reliably informed.
Reports are that the ratification of the new manager has been made by the relevant authorities.{{more}}
However, the new managerâs appointment will have an effect on the executive of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association Inc (SVGCA), as that person has to resign his substantive post with the national cricket organization.
The SVGCA Inc, on December 3, elected a new executive to serve its next two-year term.
Elected were Kishore Shallow â president, Miles Bascombe â first vice-president, Denis Byam â second vice-president, Samuel Holder â secretary, Cleton Burnett â assistant secretary and Jenry Ollivierre â treasurer.
Also elected were four committee members â Deighton Butler, Samantha Lynch, Roxell John and Roland Wilkinson.
The need for a new manager for the NSC became necessary after Jomadean May sought not to renew his appointment last September, after serving for one year in the post.
Before May, others to have served in the position, including Cecil Charles, Osbourne Browne, Michael Findlay and Freddie Campbell.(RT)
