Peto Stars in VINLEC North Leeward Cricket final
Peto Stars did not disappoint their home crowd last Sunday at the Petit Bordel Playing Field, as they captured the 2016 VINLEC North Leeward Cricket Competition.

At one point, Peto Stars were against the ropes, struggling at 97 for 4 off 12 overs.
But Peto Starsâ captain Ronique Laborde took matters into his own hands, slamming a boundary filled 89.
In his knock, Laborde belted 9 fours and 8 sixes to propel his team to 204 for 6 off 20 overs.
Shammon Hooper and Allison Samuel chipped in with 24 and 22 respectively.
Roniel Jeffery, 2 for 41 and Leon Samuel, 2 for 48, were Ajubaâs most successful bowlers.
In response, Ajuba could only come up with 166 for 7 from their 20 overs.
Michael Joseph â 47, Kenny Stapleton â 34 and Hyron Shallow â 33, were the principal scorers.
Bowling for Peto Stars, Kemrick Westfield grabbed 3 for 35 and Vidal Edwards 2 for 47, to navigate their team to a 38-run triumph.
Peto Starsâ Ronique Laborde was named Player of the Final.
A presentation ceremony will take place at a date to be determined by the organizers.(RT)
