Top Shottaz Squady stay put in Greiggs Softball

Top Shottaz Squady, the defending champions of the St Vincent Brewery Sea Operations Nar Fren Dem Greiggs Softball Cricket Competition, added another win last Sunday at the Greiggs Central Playing Field.{{more}}

In limited action on the weekend, Top Shottaz Squady beat Log Enterprise Supreme Strikers by four wickets.

Supreme Strikers batted first and made 92 in 19.2 overs. Adonis Nanton took 3/15 and Jabari Cunningham had 3/20.

Top Shottaz Squady responded with 93 for 6 in 13.2 overs, Adonis Nanton made 21. Agustus Ballantyne took 3/26 and Ranique Joseph took 2/18.

And, Caesar’s Defenders beat RSVG Police by 34 runs, in another fixture which has experienced several postponements.

Caesar’s Defenders scored 120 for 7 in their 17 overs; Dillon Douglas top scored with 41 and Oscar Walker hit 40. Malcovin Jack took 3/18, bowling for the law officers.

RSVG Police’s reply halted at 87 for 8 from their 17 overs, Renrick Cato led in vain with a top score of 26.

For Caesar’s Defenders, Kazim Haywood took 2/6 and Dillon Douglas, 2/10.(RT)
