Adept at volleyball and basketball, the tall Smart, who towers over six feet, will be pursuing an educational opportunity at that institution, and seeking to advance his skills in basketball.

His opportunity was realized through efforts of president of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Basketball Federation Wayne Williams and Vincentian Craiglee Sam, who is based in Taiwan.

Smart has made his name on the local scene for the George Stephens Senior Secondary School, in the schools’ basketball and volleyball competitions, notching up titles for himself and his school.

A consistent member of the St Vincent and the Grenadines team at the annual Windward Islands Schools’ Games, Smart was a lead player in both volleyball and basketball.

Most recently, Smart was selected to the St Vincent and the Grenadines senior men’s volleyball team, which contested Group B of the NORCECA Zone of the men’s FIVB World Championships Qualifiers, held in Grenada in August.
