Two more Vincentians athletes jet off to US colleges

Two national athletes, Kenroy Cupid-Prince and Shantal Rouse, are currently attending US colleges.

Cupid-Prince is at Colby Community College in Kansas and Rouse at the Kingsborough College in New York.{{more}}

A member of the X-Cel Academy, Cupid-Prince is a former senior national 100m champion and a former double 400m champion at the annual Inter-Secondary Schools’ Athletics Championships, while he was a student at the St Martin’s Secondary School.

Cupid-Prince is pursuing a degree in Computer Science.

Meanwhile, Rouse who last represented IT-DAT Academy in local meets, is a former record holder at inter-secondary schools’ meets and was part of the St Vincent and the Grenadines team to the inaugural Youth Olympics, held in Singapore in 2010.

Also a St Vincent and the Grenadines Under-23 netballer, Rouse will be pursuing courses in Hospitality and Tourism.
