Masters’ Cricket Competition bowls off tomorrow
The 2016 SVG Mastersâ Cricket Competition bowls off tomorrow at two venues.
On Saturday, St Vincent Co-operative Pâtani face Kirk Da Siva La Croix at Sion Hill and at Buccament, last yearâs
runners-up Sion Hill take on Rate Your Boys Challengers. Both matches are set to bowl off at 2 p.m.{{more}}
On Sunday, four matches are down for decision.
At Sion Hill, from 10 a.m., Marriaqua play Stanley Browne Stubbs and at the same time, Bequia Cricket Association Masters host JG and Sons Glamorgan at the Clive Tannis Playing Field in Bequia.
The 2 p.m. matches pit defending champions RSVG Police versus Computec Belfongo at Sion Hill and Barrouallie engage Pastures at Buccament.
Sixteen teams, placed in two zones, are contesting this yearâs competition.
Zone A comprises Stubbs, Pâtani, Bequia Cricket Association, Park Hill, Glamorgan, La Croix, North East and Marriaqua, while Zone B is composed of Pastures, RSVG Police, Barrouallie, Sion Hill, Belfongo, Rate Yo Boys Challengers, North Leeward and newcomers â Mustique.
