Oliver has represented St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) at various levels, including Junior Carifta, Windward Islands Schools Games, Central America and Caribbean (CAC) Championship, the OECS Championships, as well as other regional meets.

Last July, he was a member of the country’s record-breaking 4x400m relay team at the OECS Championships, held in the British Virgin Islands.

A past student of both St Martin’s Secondary and the St Vincent Grammar School, Oliver is the Inter-Secondary Schools’ record holder for the senior male 800m and won that event at the staging of the National Club Championships earlier this year.

Apart from track and field, Oliver is among SVG’s best young pannists and is expected to share that skill at his new learning institution.(RT)
