A hat-trick from Linus Clovis and one each from Bryant Polius and Romario Lendor completed the rout over the host.
Clovisâ items were netted in the 18th, 64th and 66th minutes. Lendor scored his teamâs second in the 21st minute, with Polius adding the third in the 52nd.
The St Lucians came out all blazing, hoping to put as many goals past the Vincentians, knowing that they could reach the final round as the best runner-up.
After losing to Bermuda 2-1, St Lucia rebounded last Friday, blanking Grenada 2-0.
Strikes by Clovis in the 38th minute and Riquelme Sylvester in the 88th accounted for the St Luciansâ triumph.
The Vincentians had lost their previous matches, going under to Grenada 2-nil on Wednesday and one-nil to eventual group winners Bermuda.
Against Bermuda on Friday, a Zuhri Burgess bundled the ball over the line and past Vincentian keeper Clinton Payne in the fourth minute, following a goal mouth melée. This was enough to seal the deal, although the host team came surging in the second half, as Bermuda looked winded.
In their final match on Sunday, needing simply not to lose versus Grenada, Bermuda did just that, coming away with a 1-1 draw and finishing on seven points and a berth in the finals, set for Trinidad and Tobago in October.
Bermudaâs goal was netted by Rahzier Jones in the 12th minute, while the equalizer for Grenada came from Kevon Maitland in the 83rd.
Bermuda, on the opening day, last Wednesday, got past St Lucia 2-1.
Joining Bermuda as group winners are Cuba (Group One), Haiti (Group Two), Jamaica (Group Four), Guadeloupe (Group Five) and Suriname (Group Six).
The six, the best runner-up and hosts Trinidad and Tobago will battle in the final in September 17-25.
The top five teams will go forward from the CFU grouping to the CONCACAF finals.(RT)
