Coming in second in the competition were Trinidad and Tobago, who lost 1-0 to Curacao in the final. In third place were Guyana, while Jamaica managed fourth place.
St Vincent and the Grenadines, which this year was represented by Pyola of Layou, did not place in the tournament. Last year, Mareynaâs White Squall from Calliaqua placed fourth.
Persons attending the event, apart from witnessing good football, were also entertained by the skills of world ranked football freestyler Philip Warren Gertsson of Sweden, who showcased his skills in conjunction with Marc Taylor and Kerron Forde of Trinidad and Dominicaâs Kyle Davis.
Guinness Street Soccer ambassador Dwight Yorke, who interacted with the audience and provided expert assessment of the teams and their performances for SportsMax, also got in on the skills exhibition, by curling a ball over the courtside barrier and into the back of the goal, from his position under a tent situated to the right of the court in line with the centre line.
