Kingâs journey to the throne began with the ousting of Akeil Deroche 7-4, 7-4, then Fidel Quammie 7-4, 7-3 and Charles Findlay 7-2, 7-4.
This put him in the final phase, along with Kyle Hall and Darrell Franklyn.
In the final round robin, King saw off Hall 7-4, 5-7, 7-5 and went on to better Franklyn 7-5, 7-5.
Hall got past Franklyn 8-6, 7-2 to take the second position.
Before taking the runner-up spot, Hall stopped Antonio Caine 7-3, 7-3 and Akeso Quammie 14-2, 7-2.
Franklyn emerged from his group when he came from behind to beat Agostini Soleyn 3-7, 8-6, 8-6 and also took care of Fabrice George 4-7, 7-5, 8-6.
But Grant Connell stalled Franklyn 7-5, 5-7, 7-5; however, Connell lost to Augustine Soleyn 7-3, 7-2. Franklynâs advancement was based on his average wins.
