Both residents of Biabou, they have contributed in different forms to the development of the sport of football in the community.

Caine has gone full circle, having participated in the league as a player, before serving as a team manager and as an administrator of the league. His recognition was for his 40 years of service to football in Biabou.

For Keir, his input has been mainly in the form of contributions to teams from the Biabou area and to the annual tournament.

Keir has taken on several commitments, inclusive of the current Biabou Stingers outfit, which was one of the participants in this year’s tournament.

At Sunday’s closing ceremony, Keir was acknowledged for giving over two decades of support to the Biabou Football League.(RT)
