âNone of them have ever played in any kind of competition, so coaching is new to them and this type of setting as well…. What we are doing, we are trying to build a structure for the area, starting with football and we are hoping that other sports are introduced,â Culzac told SEARCHLIGHT.
Culzac noted that part of the undertaking, as well, is to help in keeping the youths, especially the young boys, occupied in doing something meaningful.
âAs you know, the area has had some social problems in recent times and is getting some bad name, so we are seeing what we can do to help change the way people look at us,â he explained.
Culzac revealed that several persons from the community have come forward to assist the youngsters with gear, particularly football shoes, which has meant a lot to the initiative.
Culzac said he plans to exert as much energy as possible in sustaining the programme, as the attendees are eager and they are the ones who are fuelling his efforts through their enthusiasm.(RT)
