Junior Combined triumphed in the Under-15, while Royal Saints took the elite top prize.
Likewise, the league, on Sunday, engaged children between the ages of six and 14, primarily from Langley Park, Georgetown, Spring Village, Brownstown, Park Hill, South Rivers, Diamond and Biabou in the Grassroots Festival at the South Rivers Playing Field.
The NEFL executive said that it used this initiative in a bid to promote the sport at an early age, as well as to foster its coaching development programme.
It further reasoned that the event provided an opportunity for coaches to develop and extend their coaching abilities.
The new executive said that it embraces the initiatives to improve the football product of the league, as street football is growing and the league wants to develop and prepare teams for the new challenge.
