Team Rivals humble Saints in national Premier Division cricket

Taking on Guardian General Saints at the Sion Hill Playing Field, in the lone fixture in the division, Rivals turned it up on their opponents, winning by 58 runs.
Team Rivals, on the back of contributions of 52 from Hyron Shallow; Roneil Jeffrey, 36, and Asif Hooper, 32, tallied 193.
Saintsâ bowling saw Andrew Entage taking 2 for 29 and Nesron Samuel, 2 for 37.
In response, Saintsâ batting faltered again, and they were dismissed for 122. Rickford Walker, who is having a good season with the bat, struck 58 of his teamâs total.
Olanzo Jackson, 4 for 30, and Asif Hooper, 3 for 31, led Team Rivalsâ bowling efforts.
Batting a second time, Team Rivals declared at 115 for 3. Marvin Small, top scored with 63, while Kenroy Peters picked up all three wickets that fell, at the cost of 48 runs.
Set 186 to win, Saints packed up at 128. Derron John made 31.
Team Rivals victory was assured by Asif Hooper, who grabbed 4 for 24; Roneil Jefffrey took 2 for 8, and Obed Mc Coy, 2 for 35.
Team Rivalsâ final match pits them against Lime Radcliffe, which organizers hope will be a virtual final.
