Baptiste attended the event last Saturday and presented the trophy to the winning Brownie pack.
In her remarks, she recalled that the first ever Brownie Sports meet had been held at the Victoria Park. Baptiste also emphasized to the girls who took part that being a good sportsperson required qualities such as being understanding, polite and accepting the outcomes, whatever those may be.
She congratulated the winners and all other participants, and expressed her hope that the annual event would continue to be a successful one, with participation from Brownie packs all over the multi-island state.
