Vincentian pair to race in Guadeloupe half-marathon
Pamenos Ballantyne and Linda Mc Dowall will represent St Vincent and the Grenadines in the city of Abymes, Guadeloupe half-marathon, this Saturday.

Ballantyne and Mc Dowall, who are the current top distance athletes, will be no strangers to the conditions in the French Caribbean territory, having competed there before, with last October being the most recent, when they were part of the NACAC Petit Bourg 10k.
Ballantyneâs last half marathon was last December, when he capped the British Virgin Islandsâ event in Tortola.
November was Mc Dowallâs last outing, which saw her facing non-Vincentian competitors, when she placed second in the NACAC Chatoyer Endurance 10K held here on home soil.
In that same race, Ballantyne placed second in the male segment, which featured competitors from Kenya, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Martinique and Guadeloupe.
