Just 4D Fun win East Kingstown Softball Cricket
It was no fooling around for Just 4D Fun last Sunday at the Grammar School Playing Field in the final of the East Kingstown Twenty/20 Softball Cricket Competition.
Facing Dr Thomas Injectors in the championship match, Just 4D Fun, was the most serious contender and on the back of Elric Morrisâ 46 and Stein Josephâs 42, posted 154 in their 20 overs.{{more}}
In reply, Dr Thomas Injectors fell for 73 in 14 overs. Kezron Ashton, 40, proved to be the lone batting resistance.
Bowling for Just 4D Fun, Okeiph Andrews took 3 for 14 and Peter Richards, 2 for 15.
Richards was the top wicket taker in the competition, with 19 scalps, and Andrews â the second, on 16.
Leon Barbour registered the best bowling record â 5 for 11 in 3.3 overs and Injectorsâ Tex Franklyn â the best allrounder.
The awards list also showed Attackersâ Renrick Williams as top run scorer, with 201 runs.
Smart Strikers placed third. Bank of SVG All Stars copped the competition in 2014.
