Football Federation voters’ list for next elections trimmed

Fewer affiliates will be eligible to vote whenever the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation calls its elections for a new executive.

The last count shows that the Federation has 14 leagues and 32 teams/clubs, along with the associated members.{{more}}

Arnos Vale, Barrouallie, Bequia, Calliaqua, Kingstown, Layou, Marriaqua, North East, North Leeward, North Windward, Sion Hill, South East, South Leeward and Stubbs are the leagues listed.

Meanwhile, 1998 Hillside, Avenues United, Bequia United, BESCO Pastures, Buccament Warriors, Camdonia, Cane End Gunners, DESCO, Doves, Glenside, Green Hill, Greiggs Hill View, Hope International, Je Belle, Largo Heights, Layou, North Leeward Predators, Owia/North Windward, Parkside Rollerz, Prospect United, Richland Park Pride and Joy, Richmond Hill, Roseans, Roxdale, Sharpes, Sion Hill, SV United, SVG Coast Guard, System 3, Toni Store Jugglers, and Volcanoes are the teams/clubs with the right to cast votes.

In the elections held October 2007, there were 79 entities eligible to vote, while at the September 2011 polls, that number dropped to 68.(RT)
