England beat Australia by an innings and 78 runs

Australia was routed for a paltry 60 runs, 93 minutes into their first inning.
Stuart Broad was the hero of that hammering defeat of the guys from down under at Trentbridge on August 6, when he took eight wickets for just 15 runs.
Incidentally, extras were the top scorer in that Australia innings, of which there were 14.
England replied with 391 for 9 declared, Joe Root getting 130 and Jonny Baristow making 74.
In their second innings reply, Australia began well with their 113 run partnership between their openers. After Rogers left, Australia collapsed, with Ben Stokes taking 6 of the wickets for 36 runs.
Wood delivered the final blow on behalf of England when he bowled Lyon for four, leaving Adam Vouges unbeaten at 51.
England now go three to one up in the five-match Ashes series, with one match left in the series.(CM)
