Topping the list was Deron Rouse, who was named Youth Footballer of the Year.

Rouse, a resident of Campden Park, was drafted by the Phoenix Football Academy of Jamaica, after being spotted during the Digicel Kick Start try-outs last year.

Before leaving these shores, Rouse played his role for Parkside in the Under-17 division of the National Club Championships, in which he was voted the Most Outstanding Defender.

Meanwhile, Jamal Bishop was the Leading Goal Scorer in both the club championships and the Inter-Community League competition.

Bishop represented System Three in the club competition and South Leeward in the inter-community league championships.

The other departmental awardees in the Under-17 of the inter-community league were Jahvan Peters of East Kingstown – Most Outstanding Goalkeeper; Akeeny Roberts of Calliaqua – Most Outstanding Defender and Marcus Browne of East Kingstown – the Most Outstanding Midfielder.

East Kingstown won the overall title, with South Leeward taking the runner-up spot.

Anthony Hazell of winners Pride and Joy copped the Most Outstanding Goalkeeper title in the U-17 club championships and Gavin Browne of North Leeward Predators – the Most Outstanding Midfielder.
