The opening ceremony will feature addresses from president of the Bequia Basketball Association Sabrina Mitchell, along with sponsors and sports officials.

A March Past of the 16 teams will add the usual radiance to the opening, which is slated for a 6:30 p.m. start.

Following the formalities, two matches will get the tournament going.

Five teams: Rising Stars 11, East Blazers, Warriaz, Wizards and Generals will be trying to wrestle the First Division title from Duke.

Those battling for honours in the Second Division are Rising Stars II, Wizards II, Blazing Heat and Young Duke, while Hornets, Young Wizards, Hawks, Dragons, Titans and Rockets, make up the teams in the Under-16 Division.

Blazing Heat won the 2013 and 2014 Second Division titles and will be looking to complete the three-peat this year, while Dragons won the development Under-16 Division in 2014.
