It has been a busy year for the two, as both attended the Carifta Games in Martinique in April.
Additionally, Boyde attended the St Lucia National Championships and the Central American and Caribbean Junior Championships in Morelia, Mexico.
The St Lucia National proved to be a grand occasion for Boyde who executed his personal best in both the 100m and 200m.
There he timed 10.50s in the 100m and 21.26s in the 200m.
