All recreation sites closed for Good Friday

All tourism and recreation sites will be temporarily closed to the public tomorrow, Good Friday.

This is according to a public service announcement issued by the National Parks, Rivers and Beaches Authority dated April 13, 2022.

The sites that will be closed tomorrow are: Belmont Look-out; Black Point Heritage and Recreation Park; Chatoyer National Park; Cumberland Beach and Recreation Park; Dark View Falls; Indian Bay Beach facility; Layou Petroglyph Park; Mt Wynne Beach facility; Rawacou Recreation Park; St Vincent Botanical Garden; Vermont Nature trail and Wallilabou Heritage Park.

The PSA noted that all sites will re-open on Saturday, April 16.

“The Authority apologizes for any inconvenience caused and looks forward to the cooperation of the general public. The National Parks, Rivers and Beaches Authority takes this opportunity to wish the nation a blessed Easter,” it said.
