Mespo man pleads not guilty to stealing piglets

Lyron Prince, a 37 year old labourer of Mesopotamia pleaded not guilty to stealing seven piglets when he appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on Thursday March, 21, 2024.

He was granted bail in the sum of $1,000 with one surety and ordered not to have any contact with the virtual complainant. Prince was arrested and charged with stealing the piglets, valued at EC$700.00, at Richland Park between 6:15.p.m on February 22, 2024, and 5:30 a.m on February 23, 2024. The piglets are owned by a 43 year old resident of Richland Park, a police report states.

The matter has been adjourned and transferred to the Mesopotamia Magistrate’s Court for trial on April, 5, 2024.
