SVG Northern Ireland consulate receives cricket equipment for SVG

Kookaburra cricket equipment valued over EC$10,000 has been received by the Consulate General of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) in Northern Ireland, following a donation initiative.

The pro cricket bats, pads and wheelie carry bags were donated by individuals, businesses, and supporters of SVG, including 3D Sports and sporting clubs across Northern Ireland, a release from the Consulate General said. Shipping has been kindly arranged by Geest Line through the SVG High Commission in London and Clarkson Port Services in Belfast.

Arrangements are being made for transport to Kingstown and disbursement through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Regional Integration.

Consul General Dr Stange said: “On behalf of the Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines, thank you to everyone involved in our country’s social and sport development. We wish to make this an ongoing donation drive.”

Anyone who would like to contribute or explore how they may assist SVG, please feel free to contact the Consulate General directly or visit their website: www.svgconsulate.vc.
