Senvia Money Services with its Global Head Office in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, which transfers funds from Canada, United Kingdom, United States and Cayman Islands to the Phillipines, India, 11 Latin American countries and the Caribbean, launched its services in April 2006 in Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago and in St. Vincent and the Grenadines through the National Commercial Bank (SVG) Ltd.

Transfers are received from abroad at the Bedford Street Head Office. Customers can collect their remittances at all branches of the NCB, at the Cash Express Centre at Higginson Street and the Exchange Bureau at the E.T. Joshua Airport.{{more}}

A 27′ flat tube television was raffled for persons who received funds through this express service. Annette Francois of the Director of Public Prosecution’s office drew the winner, in the presence of Samantha Clarke of Pannell Kerr Forster, auditors, and Cheryl Rodriguez of the NCB on Wednesday May 17.

On Friday, May 19, the winner of the television, Currel Williams of Georgetown, was presented with her prize. Williams was excited to receive her gift and praised the NCB for this new and efficient service. She encouraged other people to use the facility.
