Four KPS students in CPEA top 10
FOUR STUDENTS of Kingstown Preparatory School have secured places among the top 10 performers in the 2026 Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA). The students were among the country’s highest achievers in this year’s examination, joining a select group of top performers from across St. Vincent dhG di SG) and the Grenadines (SVG). Speaking with SEARCHLIGHT on Monday, June 22, 2026 following the release of the results the students expressed excitement and gratitude after learning of their achievement and reflected on the preparation that led to their success.
Naailah Stevenson, who placed second overall and f l d first among females, described her preparations for the examinations as “fun”.
“I think the methods that we use, the way my parents helped me to study, it was really fun.”
She said she also attended extra classes as part of her preparation. Speaking about how she felt when the results were released, Naailah said, “I feel really relieved because I was really anxious for the results…I’m happy and excited”. The student also shared some advice for upcoming CPEA students, saying, “I would say to take your work very seriously, study, and don’t put too much pressure on yourself. I really recommend you enrol yourself in an extracurricular activity”.
