Two charged with murder of Carlyle ‘Pound’ Forde

Park Hill resident Desbert James, 26 and Gilly Mitchell, 39, a Domestic of Adelphi, were on Friday, July 8, charged with the murder{{more}} of Biabou resident, Carlyle “Pound” Forde on July 4, 2011, at Adelphi.

The two were remanded into custody after appearing at the Serious Offences Court before Chief Magistrate Sonya Young.

Forde, 56, succumbed to chop wounds to the hands, face and neck, following an argument with three individuals on July 4.

It was reported that the attack may have stemmed from a dispute between the girlfriend of the deceased and one of his attackers, which has been ongoing for some time. (KW)
