Mc Kish Compton betters National 60m record

Almost one year after going it alone in the St Vincent and the Grenadines Men’s 60 meters outdoor record, Mc

Kish Compton has bettered the previous mark. He did so on familiar territory last Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the GC Foster College Track in Spanish Town, Jamaica, clocking 6.66 seconds at the QWICK Meet,

Before last Saturday’s accomplishment, Compton held the record which stood at 6.67s.

Compton is the current National 100-m champion and is part of the quartet that holds the St Vincent and the Grenadines 4x 100m record.
