Community College students earn Caribbean Coaching Certification
FIFTY-SEVEN STUDENTS currently enrolled in the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Sport Sciences at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) have been awarded certificates following their completion of Level One of the Caribbean Coaching Certification Programme (CCCP).
This achievement marks a significant milestone in the students’ professional coaching journeys, the SVGCC states in a release.
The programme is delivered through the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC), and equips students with essential skills to enhance regional sports development and sustainability.
The certificates were officially conferred President of Team Athletics SVG and CANOC Keith Joseph, and Athletics Lecturer and CCCP Coordinator, Chester Morgan.
The presentation was facilitated by Author, Coordinator, and Lead Lecturer in the Sport Sciences Programme, Roxell John.
The College said that the AAS in Sport Sciences continues to prioritise industry-ready qualifications, ensuring that graduates are prepared to contribute to the sporting landscape of St.Vincent and the Grenadines and the wider Caribbean.
