SVG draws last game, finishes last in Under-17 Group E Concacaf Qualifiers
GROUP-E INTHE 2026 CONCACAF Under-17 Qualifiers which was played at the Arnos Vale Playing Field from February 5 – 10, 2026, wrapped up with a 2-2 draw between hosts St Vincent and the Grenadines and St Kitts and Nevis.
It was the first point for each side in the 2026 qualifiers.
Savi-k Morton placed the hosts in the lead in the 5th minute, blasting in a long-range stunner into the top left corner, and T’Quandre Burroughs doubled the advantage in the 13th minute, scoring from close range, after muscling his way through the opponents’ defence.
Two second half strikes in quick succession helped St Vincent and the Grenadines level the score. Jaymar Williams scored following a precise through ball from Jolanson Charles in the 74th minute, then Beau Hoyte equalized with a banger from long-range in the 77th minute.
It was the first time that both teams were able to get on to the score sheets. In the penultimate game of the Group E Qualifiers, hosts USA drew 1-1 with the Dominican Republic but advance to the FIFA Under-17 World Cup because of a superior goal difference of +18, while the Dominican Republic ended with a +15 goal difference.
On Thursday February 5, 2026, the opening day of the Group E Qualifiers, home team the Dominican Republic, hammered St. Kitts and Nevis 5-nil, while in the second game of the night, hosts USA swamped SVG 8-nil.
On Saturday February 7, 2026, hosts St.Vincent and the Grenadines were put to the sword by the Dominican Republic 10-nil, while the USA also won by a similar scoreline over hosts St. Kitts and Nevis in the evening’s second game.
St. Kitts and Nevis finished third with a -15 goal difference, while St. Vincent and the Grenadines occupied the fourth position with a -18 goal difference.
