More national Track and Field records fall

LAST SATURDAY, February 7, 2026, saw the fall of two St Vincent and the Grenadines Athletics records by Amal Glasgow and Handal Roban, both US based student- athletes.

More so, the duo broke their own marks at indoor meets.

Glasgow broke his 400m record, lowering it to 45.90s. One week prior, Glasgow had clocked 46.70s at the Razorback Invitational.

In the process, Glasgow, a student at the Louisiana State University (LSU) achieved a ninth place on the institution’s all-time list.

Meanwhile, Roban reset the national 600m record to 1:14.98 at the Skyes & Sabock Challenge.

He bettered his 2024 timing of 1:15.53 over that distance.
